Every article published in an Afarand journal receives a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) with the prefix 10.58209, so that it can always be cited and found at a permanent address.
Afarand journals deposit their published content with the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), the national citation database and archive for Iranian journals, and keep a full digital archive on the journal's own website and on the publisher's website (https://daneshafarand.org).
If an Afarand journal ceases publication, its content will remain freely available on the publisher's website and through its DOIs.
Afarand is working to add an international long-term digital preservation service for all its journals. This page will be updated as soon as an agreement is in place.
Authors may deposit any version of their work in an institutional or other repository of their choice, provided they cite and link to the original publication on the journal website.
